Robert McClory Bike Path PDF Print E-mail

Today, was an iteresting day. For one because of my trading and for the second becuse by it I have again learned something new and third I realized that people always want something that they don't have and when they have it, they don't use it or simply they just take it for granted. To write here that I am one of those people I don't have to, we all know we are. Some of us are simple like me, we don't want many things (only if I could have a helicopter, then I would be happy....yeah, right ! Then I would need  a pad to store it, buy avi fuel and much more). And I really don't, but even that isn't any excuse for the fact than the stuff I have I many times don't utilize to it's full potential. Something like being able to ride a bike, or having ore time on my hands than most people have and I won't even name anything else not to put myself on the pedestal here, but the reality of it is, that  sometimes it is  hidden from us. We don't think about those things. But we should! So here is a something from me to you, and also to me to remeber that we need to appreciate what we have:

I couldn't resist the nice sun shine outside today  so I left the desk early and unnatended since my trading for today has not turned out as I wanted. I left after 2:00 to ride on Robert McClory Bike Path.  What the hell I told myself I don't always have to ride on the road. I've lived here in Zion for 5 years now and I have been on it for maybe 4-5 times. What a duche I am !!! So I got my head out of the gutter, put on some long shit on and went outside. Man, this thing is long. I won't describe it here as it would take me some considerable amount of time, but if you would like more info on in it's right here. There are also some of the pictures on the web site so you can see what the scenery and conditions you will be riding on are like.  http://www.about-bicycles.com/green-bay-trail.htm

I forgot how good this and long and not crowded this trail was and forgot that sometimes the best things are right in front of us, we just can't see them. So go ride your trails whether they are behind your house, or a drive away. It definitely gives a different perspective to a tired mind or bored roadie. After all you can use your MTB bike or your road bike on these trails (total distance from start at Wilmette to Kenosha 45 miles one way).

By the way I got to say hi to the moon when I was turing in  to my neighbrhood in Zion.

If you have any ??? or want to ride along email me: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Ok, gotta run to the pool.

Happy training!
