Hi, a little bit late but still...Windsor, ON in Canada was a great race this year again. This year we even scored a free dinner. I couldn't help it, but notice that all the ladies (my biggest compliments go to them) at the packet pick-up were all smiles, but not only that but more importantly that they all looked so prestine, and that may not even begin to describe it. They all looked like they live their lives with a sparcle in the in eye, with the prospect of better tomorrow and joy, they looked like they are enjoying themselved throughout their lives and that night at the dinner, everybody, not only ladies but guys too, and probably all the people in that little town are so good looking. I mean...really, if I am their age (I was probably at least 15-20 years junior to most of them and I am already 30) and look half way as good as any of them there, it will be an accomplishment of it's own. And to really describe it, I would have to say that on August the 14th of 2010, I had dinner in a room full of BEAUTIFULL PEOPLE. Yes, that's it. Beautifull both ways, in and out (I bet all those people run for fun and maybe they even know the kung-fu too). So it was a tasty dinner and off we went to bed. (oh, yeah, that nigh thou, still I had to have a banana and a cinamon bar at 1.00 AM, my crezy night eating habits are insane). Anyhow, the race was another story. I had a bad swim. At least from my point of view. Water was so shallow and filled with "green stuff" and they told us not to delphine dive. ....For some reason or another, I felt as if I was drowning the whole swim...horrible. The bike was ok, thou seemed harder than it really was. And the run, I was praying to all the gods, for poise and for the strong finish. It was bloody hot and humid and the fact that we did 100K ride couple days before the race and probably didn't replenish well after it, was taking toll on me. By 5 kilometer, I was just trying to remind myself that my whole body should coordinate itself so I can at least be seen by others that I can still control my limbs. I can't even tell you what words came out of my mouth after I crossed the finish line...let's just say I was happy that the race was over. See you at the next one :) And here are some pics, sorry that's all I got :)
